As we mentioned in last month’s Newsletter, we are going to be focusing on the new features of our carrierrate 2.0 system.  There are many new features that set us apart from our competitors that you can benefit from.

The time of year is upon us once again when parts of the country are dealing with freezing temperatures.  Please keep that in mind when quoting and ensure that your freight is covered. Please let us know if your freight needs a ‘protect from freeze’ option.

Carrierrate 2.0
By now you should be converted to our new CarrierRate 2.0 system.  If you haven’t yet, please contact us so we can guide you through the set-up.  It’s quick and easy and worth it, as we have many additional features that improve on version 1.0.
The image below is the opening dashboard with a few new features.  The shipment summary is virtually the same as 1.0, however, the ‘status’ tab now has a visual that is color-coded for each step of the shipping process.  This is to help you monitor your freight as it moves along.  Even though we are still tracking all of your freight in transit, this is an additional tool to help you with the status of your freight.  We are still sending out notices if we find a delay in your pick up, transit, and delivery times.

The following images are from a new tool to help you see what has been scheduled, as well as what is out for delivery that day.  We are doing this tracking daily and you will hear from us if there is an issue, however, you can always check the status using our home page.

 

The last box, to the right, is the open claims.

This will hold all current that will be there for you to observe your current open claims.

About the Team
We would like to introduce a new member of the team!  Shannon is Todd’s sister-in-law. She is married to his older brother, Jason, and has three beautiful children.  She will be working part-time and helping with invoicing.  If you have any invoices over 60 days, she’ll be working with you to get them resolved.  We understand that there may be issues with some invoices and she’ll be working with you and Mark to get those issues resolved and invoices cleared from accounts.  
 
 
Jason also works with us on

occasion when we need some art and design work done.  Aside from being a full-time mom, and working as a part time substitiue teacher, Shannon enjoys making unique cakes (left). 

Contest
We want to congratulate those who won the pizza party last month.  It was a big success and everyone at the party seemed to enjoy!  Be sure to enter in the next contest to win!
