LOG-IN ISSUES
Some of you may be experiencing issues logging in to Carrier Rate. We have recently updated our website and a redirect is causing this problem. You can log in directly from our website at, www.millenniumshipping.com. To correct your current settings, please follow the simple instructions provided by your IT Department:
“We have noticed some customers that have CarrierRate.com on their Favorites/Bookmark pages are not working. Please let your customer know that they will need go to CarrierRate.com directly not using their Favorites/Bookmark and then re-save it to their Favorites/Bookmark again. This will solve the issue. “

Avoiding Rebills -Part Two Classes and Sub-classes Many of our clients are somewhat unfamiliar with the importance of correct classifications when scheduling shipments. One of the first things carriers look at is the class of the commodity. Many times shippers will use the classification given to them without double checking to see if the class number is accurate. As we have seen many times, people will often reuse a class number that they used in a previous shipment without knowing that the commodity is a density item. If the density changes, the class can change, and a watchful carrier will make sure to charge you for this error. In some cases, this common mistake can cost thousands of dollars.CarrierRate has a density calculator that is quite easy to use: plug in the weight and dims and it will tell you what sub-class your shipment falls under. This little tool can save your company thousands in rebill fees.

About the team
As many may know, Todd has been playing on two separate organized hockey teams since he moved to South Florida over 2 years ago. After only one year of his first organized hockey season he made the All-Star game. He won the championships in the Fall of 2011 and then again in the Winter and Summer of 2012. Both teams are entering the play-offs as they hope to re-claim the championship.
Also, you may know that the NHL season is back and how excited Todd has been for this. The Florida Panthers aren’t doing as well as he’d hope this season but he says a losing hockey season is better than no hockey season.
