Good morning!
We hope you had a nice weekend! We are happy to announce that we have a lot of upcoming changes.  Currently, our website is being updated and we are excited to roll this out within the next couple of weeks.  We also started our own Twitter account: @ShipMillennium.  We would love to have you as a follower!

Live Tracking Notifications

Our team does a daily manual tracking of all shipments picked up the previous day, as well as those scheduled to be delivered that day.  We don’t reach out to our clients unless there is an issue. However, if you would like a more detailed tracking with notifications, this is a guide on using Carrierrate 2.0:

First, log into your portal and click the ‘Admin’ tab at the top of the Home page.  Scroll down the menu bar to ‘User Management’.  If you are the administrator of the account, you may see other users or you may just see your own profile.  Click on the user you would like to manage and click on the tracking notification feature. Scroll down to ‘Default Tracking Notification’.  You can select any of the options and add the email you want the notifications to be sent to.  You can also add multiple e-mail addresses to the list and have them get different notifications, if desired. After you are finished, you MUST click ‘Save and Close’ at the bottom right of the page.

Please keep in mind that the above instructions are for a default setting.  If you want to select which shipment you would like notifications for, you can do so on the ‘Confirm Details’ step when booking a shipment.  You will then quote and select the carrier of your choosing.  The next step is entering the shipper and consignee addresses.  For this one specific shipment, you can see ‘Email Tracking’ to the right.  Just be sure to use the drop down menu to select which notification you or your customer would like to receive.

 

About the Team

Andrea Padilla has been our dispatcher for the last three years and has been an essential element to our success.  Some of you may already know about her interest in art and photography. You may not realize that she has created nearly all of our banners and holiday posts on our Facebook page.  She created the Millennium header for this newsletter.  She is amazingly talented and we love the artwork she creates for us.

This past year was full of surprises for Andrea and the Millennium team.  Our editor, Liz, just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and Todd is expecting a baby boy in October.  Now Andrea is going to be an aunt!  Her brother and his wife will be welcoming a baby girl in August. She is very excited and we are thrilled for her!
